Pakistan has intensified its deportation of undocumented Afghan migrants, with reports on Wednesday indicating that 513,506 individuals had been deported as of March 12, including more than 10,000 in the last 10 days alone.

From March 2 to March 12, a significant number of Afghan citizens, including 3,254 men, 2,547 women, and 4,444 children, totaling 10,245 individuals, were deported from Pakistan.

This operation involved 365 families and 400 vehicles returning to Afghanistan.

The surge in deportations comes as Pakistan expresses security concerns. However, the mass return has raised alarms over the lack of shelter and food for the migrants amid Afghanistan’s cold winter.
