The Resistance Front, an anti-Taliban armed movement, claimed responsibility for an attack on a Taliban outpost in the Farkhar district of Takhar province, according to a statement from the group.
In the attack, which took place in the Shahristan area of Farkhar on Friday night, the Resistance Front claimed that one Taliban member was killed and three others were wounded.
The Taliban has not yet provided comments on the incident.
