The Resistance Front, an anti-Taliban movement, claimed that its members targeted a vehicle carrying Taliban intelligence members in Taluqan, the capital of Takhar province, on Thursday.
According to the statement, three Taliban members were killed and four others were wounded in the attack.
Taliban so far has not commented on the incident.
