SpaceX launches eighth crewed mission to ISS for NASA

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket, carrying three U.S. astronauts and one Russian cosmonaut, launched from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida, on Sunday night. The crew is embarking on a six-month scientific mission aboard the International Space Station (ISS).

The launch, featuring the Crew Dragon capsule named Endeavor, occurred at 10:53 p.m. EST on March 3 (0353 GMT on March 4), marking SpaceX’s eighth long-duration crewed flight for NASA.

The event was broadcast live by NASA and SpaceX, showcasing the 25-story rocket’s ascent, illuminated by the fiery glow of its nine Merlin engines against the night sky.
