Sri Lanka defeats Afghanistan by 72 runs in second T20 International

DAMBULLA, Sri Lanka — Sri Lanka secured a 72-run victory over Afghanistan in the second T20 international of their three-match series at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium in Dambulla, Sri Lanka.

Following a close win in the first T20 match, where both team captains scored fifties, Sri Lanka now leads the series 2-0. Afghanistan’s struggles continue as they have yet to win a match on the tour, with six consecutive losses.

Afghanistan’s batting faltered, collapsing to 115 runs in just 17 overs, sealing their defeat by a substantial margin.
