KABUL – An anti-Taliban armed movement, the Freedom Front, claimed responsibility for an attack on a Taliban checkpoint in Karta-e Naw area in Kabul’s PD 8.
The freedom front claimed that at least three Taliban members were killed in the attack.
The Afghanistan Freedom Front stated that two additional Taliban members were wounded in the assault. The group also accused the Taliban checkpoint of kidnapping more than 10 former security forces from their homes in Karta-e Naw.
There has been no comment from the Taliban regarding the incident.
