The Taliban have incorporated Dand-e-Ghori region in Baghlan province as a new district in the administrative structure of the northern province.
Bakhtar Agency, under Taliban control, reported that Abdul Samad Jawad has been appointed as the district governor for Dand-e-Ghori.
This addition brings the total number of administrative units in Baghlan province to 15.
