The U.S. Central Command conducted airstrikes in Iraq and Syria targeting the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Quds Force and associated militia groups, the military said Friday.

Over 85 sites, including command centers, intelligence facilities, and weapon storage areas, were hit.

The operation, involving numerous aircraft including long-range bombers from the U.S., used more than 125 precision munitions. The strikes aimed at militia groups and their IRGC sponsors who have attacked U.S. and coalition forces, CENTCOM reported.
