10 Afghan nationals released from Pakistani prisons, returned home

KABUL, Afghanistan – The Taliban-led Ministry of Refugees announced on Friday that 10 Afghan nationals, previously detained in Pakistani prisons, have been released and repatriated.

According to the ministry, these individuals had been incarcerated in Pakistan for three months.

The reason for their imprisonment was cited as the lack of legal travel documents.

Following their release on Friday, they returned to Afghanistan through the Torkham border crossing. The Ministry of Refugees provided no further details regarding the circumstances of their detention or the process of their release.
