Pakistan has deported 837 Afghan immigrants on Sunday, Jan. 14, as part of its continuing efforts to expel undocumented migrants, Pakistani media reports.

Since the initiation of these deportations, over 468,000 Afghan nationals have been sent back from Pakistan.

The group deported on Sunday comprised 243 men, 206 women, and 388 children.

This wave of deportations occurs during a severe winter in Afghanistan, exacerbating the challenges for the deportees who face uncertain futures, including a lack of shelter and basic facilities.
