Four dead, three injured in attack on passenger coach in Pakistan

Four individuals were killed and three others wounded in an attack on a passenger coach and another vehicle near Sadda Bazaar in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Kurram district on Sunday, according to local police as quoted by Pakistani media.

According to local police, the vehicles were targeted by gunmen using automatic weapons.

Police authorities said that two of the deceased were security personnel.

Following the attack, local Turi Bangash tribes have convened an emergency jirga (meeting) to formulate a response plan.

This incident follows a deadly attack last month in Gilgit-Baltistan’s Chilas, where a “terrorist” assault on a passenger bus resulted in nine deaths and 25 injuries.
