Pakistan deports over 1,500 Afghan nationals in a single day

Pakistani media reported that over 1,500 Afghan nationals were deported from Pakistan on Tuesday, Dec. 26, as the country continues its drive against undocumented migrants.

This figure is consistent with the number of deportations recorded the previous day.

The deported individuals re-entered Afghanistan through the Spin Boldak and Torkham border crossings.

To date, a total of 449,745 undocumented Afghan migrants have been repatriated, as per Pakistani media statistics.
