Israeli airstrikes kill dozens in central Gaza: Officials

At least 70 individuals lost their lives in a targeted Israeli airstrike on Maghazi in central Gaza, according to Ashraf Al-Qidra, the spokesperson for the health ministry.

Al-Qidra revealed that a significant number of the casualties were women and children.

The Palestinian Red Crescent released footage depicting the wounded being transported to hospitals. It reported that Israeli warplanes were strategically bombing main roads, obstructing the passage of ambulances and emergency vehicles. Unfortunately, Reuters was unable to verify the location or the date of the footage.

The escalation of violence follows the collapse of a week-long truce at the beginning of the month. In the aftermath, the conflict has intensified on the ground, spreading from the north of the Gaza Strip to the entire length of the densely populated enclave.
