Over 2,000 undocumented Afghan migrants repatriated from Pakistan in 24 hours

The deportation of undocumented Afghan migrants from Pakistan persisted, with 2,028 migrants returning to Afghanistan on Tuesday, December 5, reflecting a slight decrease in numbers compared to the previous day.

The migrants reentered the country through the Spin Boldak and Torkham border crossings.

Data provided by the Taliban-run Ministry of Refugees indicated that 572 migrants returned through the Torkham crossing on the same day.

Cumulatively, figures reveal that 412,184 illegal Afghan nationals have been repatriated to Afghanistan as part of the ongoing efforts to address the issue of undocumented migrants.
