More than 2,000 migrants returned from Iran through the Islam Qala border town on Tuesday, November 28, either through deportation or voluntary return, according to a Taliban statement.
The statement mentioned that among those returned, 363 individuals were identified as vulnerable and were referred to the IOM office for support.
This development follows a trend of nearly 2,000 migrants returning from Iran to Afghanistan daily through the Islam Qala border over the past few weeks.
