Pakistan’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on Saturday released updated regulations pertaining to flights originating from Afghanistan and transiting through Pakistan’s airspace.
Under the revised directives, all flights entering Pakistani airspace from Afghanistan must provide a minimum of 15 minutes advance notice.
According to a statement reported in Pakistani media, the CAA emphasized that air traffic services will be readily available to flights within Pakistan’s airspace upon receiving prior notification.
This accommodating service will be efficiently facilitated through the Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad Area Control centers.
Furthermore, flights will benefit from air traffic services via the Dushanbe and Islamabad Area Control Air Link, thus significantly improving communication and coordination for flights navigating the region.
