Taliban outpost attacked in Laghman, says Freedom Front

The Freedom Front said in a press release on Sunday that it had attacked a Taliban outpost in Laghman province in the east of the country during the late hours of Saturday.

The operation was executed approximately at 11:20 PM on a Taliban outpost positioned within the Dawlat Shah district of Laghman province, as detailed in the press statement.

Freedom Front, an anti-Taliban military movement, claimed that two Taliban members were killed and three more sustained injuries in the attack.

Notably absent from the statement were any references to possible casualties or harm endured by members of the Freedom Front during the engagement.

So far, the Taliban has not commented on the incident.

This follows an escalation in the Freedom Front’s offensives against Taliban targets so far this month.
