Afghanistan’s under-17 national football team is gearing up for the Central Asian Championship, with their first match against Kyrgyzstan scheduled for Sunday in Tajikistan.
The Afghan U-17 team will face opponents in the championship, including Tajikistan, Iran, and Uzbekistan.
The matches are set to take place at 5:30 pm local time.

The CAFA tournament got underway on Friday and will run through until August 28 in Hisor, Tajikistan.
The Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) is one of five regional bodies of governance in association football in Asia.
It governs association football, futsal, and beach football in Central Asia. CAFA consists of six national association members.
