A landslide in the central province of Kapisa killed four people and injured six others, Taliban police said on Saturday.
The slide occurred overnight in the Shokhi area near the center of Kapisa province, which lies north of Kabul, the Taliban provincial police command said in a statement.
One house collapsed in the incident, it added.
Afghanistan is highly vulnerable to natural disasters, including landslides, earthquakes and flash floods, particularly in mountainous areas where homes are often built on unstable slopes.
Since last September, landslides have also affected highways linking Nuristan to Kunar and Jalalabad to Kabul, at times blocking key transport routes, according to local authorities.
The country has faced repeated deadly natural disasters in recent months, compounding economic hardship and humanitarian challenges.
