Turkmenistan sends humanitarian aid to Kabul following earthquake

A shipment of humanitarian aid from Turkmenistan arrived in Kabul on Saturday to assist victims of last week’s earthquake in the east of the country, according to Turkmen media reports.

The aid was delivered via a special flight from Ashgabat International Airport and includes food, clothing, textiles and other essential supplies, primarily intended for children and families affected by the disaster.

The delivery was ordered by Turkmen President Serdar Berdymukhamedov and organized with the support of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation, named after the former president.

Turkmen officials said the shipment reflects the country’s commitment to humanitarian principles and good neighborly relations.
