More than 2,500 migrant families were expelled from Iran on Tuesday, July 8, according to data released by the Taliban-run refugees ministry.
The data reported by the Taliban-run Bakhtar News Agency shows that on the same day, 98 families were repatriated from Pakistan.
According to the figures, 53 families entered through the Torkham border crossing, and 45 crossed via Spin Boldak in southern Kandahar Province. In the west, 496 families returned through Pul-e-Abrisham in Nimroz Province, while 2,010 crossed through Islam Qala, a major entry point in Herat Province.
