A young man took his own life on Saturday in Kandahar city, local sources told Amu.
The incident occurred in the Dabro Pala neighborhood of Police District 9, where the man, identified as Fida Mohammad, was found dead in his home. Sources said that prior to the act, he posted a single word — “Goodbye” — on his Facebook page.
Local Taliban authorities and security officials have not commented on the case, and the motive for the suicide remains unclear.
