UNITED NATIONS — The United Nations Security Council on Monday unanimously approved a resolution extending the mandate of the U.N. Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) for another year.
All 15 Security Council members voted in favor of the extension, reaffirming the mission’s role in monitoring the situation in Afghanistan.
