Herat resident killed in Taliban’s internal dispute: Sources

HERAT, Afghanistan — A young man was killed during an internal armed dispute among Taliban forces in Herat, according to sources.

The incident occurred on Tuesday at a fuel station in the city of Herat. The 25-year-old man, who had recently completed his bachelor’s degree, was caught in the crossfire and later died from his injuries at the hospital, sources said.

Taliban has not yet commented on the incident.
