Pakistan deported at least 670 Afghan migrants on Sunday, April 21, as the country continues to expel undocumented immigrants, according to the Taliban-run Refugee Ministry.
The ministry reported that those deported included 125 families, with 389 entering Afghanistan through the Spin Boldak crossing and 281 through the Torkham crossing.
Sice October 2023, Pakistan has deported over 600,000 undocumented Afghan migrants.
Pakistan has vowed to begin a new phase of deportations that will impact documented Afghan migrants.
