WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden warned Iran on Friday against attacking Israel, saying he expected such an action “sooner, rather than later,” and emphasized U.S. commitment to Israel’s defense.
Responding to reporters’ questions, Biden’s message to Tehran was succinct: “Don’t.” He affirmed that while he would not reveal sensitive information, he anticipated that an attack could be imminent.
“We are devoted to the defense of Israel,” Biden said. “We will support and help defend Israel, and Iran will not succeed.”
