The Afghanistan National Futsal Team clinched a 5-4 victory over Australia in the NSDF Futsal Championship Thailand 2024.
The match, held in Thailand, saw Afghanistan taking a commanding lead with four goals in the first half, while Australia managed to score once. Australia rallied in the second half, netting three goals, but Afghanistan secured the win with a fifth goal in the closing moments of the game.
Afghanistan had tied its previous match against Malaysia 3-3 on Sunday.
