Two drone strikes in Afghanistan’s eastern Nangarhar province injured four civilians, including three children and a woman, according to a statement Thursday from the Taliban governor’s office.
The statement said the strikes took place Wednesday night in Shinwari district, targeting the home of a civilian named Shahsawar “with no known affiliation to any armed group”. Three rooms of the house were destroyed, the statement said. The injured were taken to a local hospital and are in stable condition.
