A Polish tourist was injured in a traffic accident on Sunday morning in the southern province of Kandahar, according to a statement from the Taliban provincial police command.
The incident occurred in the Pul-e-Arghistan area of Daman district, when the tourist’s vehicle collided with a minivan, reportedly due to excessive speed.
The statement said the tourist was taken to a hospital for treatment and is in stable condition.
