KABUL, Afghanistan — Former President Hamid Karzai condemned the suicide bombing near a Kabul Bank branch in Kunduz, calling it an act “against human and Islamic principles.”
In a statement posted on X on Tuesday, Karzai denounced the attack, which killed and wounded dozens of people.
According to local sources, at least 25 people, including Taliban members, were killed, and 30 others were injured in the blast.
However, the Taliban have downplayed the casualty figures, stating that only five people were killed.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
