KABUL, Afghanistan – A fire broke out on Wednesday morning near a commercial market in the Pul-e-Khishti area of southeastern Kabul.
Videos obtained by Amu and on social media show flames engulfing the back of a market known as “Mobile Center,” a popular commercial hub in the city.
The area is surrounded by electronics stores and shoe shops.
As of now, Taliban have not issued any statement regarding the incident, and details about the cause of the fire or potential casualties remain unclear.
Such incidents in Kabul’s markets often result in significant damage, largely due to inadequate preventive measures.
