Taliban carried out a public flogging of a man accused of adultery on Wednesday in the central province of Samangan.
According to a statement from the Taliban-controlled Supreme Court, the man received 20 lashes, though no further details were provided by the authorities.
This incident occurred on the same day that two women and a man were publicly flogged in the northeastern province of Takhar.
Over the past three weeks, the Taliban have administered public floggings to at least 20 individuals across various provinces.
Despite condemnation from international human rights organizations and the United Nations, the Taliban continue to carry out these public punishments.
