Afghanistan’s national futsal team suffered a 2-1 defeat against Argentina in their second match of the 2024 Futsal World Cup on Wednesday.
The game, held on September 18, ended with Argentina securing the win despite a goal from Afghanistan’s Hossein Mohammadi, who scored the team’s only goal.
Earlier in the tournament, Afghanistan had claimed a 6-4 victory over Angola in their opening match.
Afghanistan will face Ukraine in their final group stage match as they continue their quest in the tournament.
