KABUL, Afghanistan — The Taliban’s minister of labor, Abdul Manan Omari, proposed a plan to transfer Afghan workers to Russia during a meeting with Russian Minister of Labor and Social Protection, Anton Kotyakov.
The Taliban-run labor ministry disclosed that the meeting took place on the sidelines of the seventh International Economic Forum in Saint Petersburg. According to RTA, the Taliban-run national broadcaster, the Taliban delegation discussed the transfer of skilled workers from Afghanistan to Russia across various fields.
Omari, accompanied by a Taliban delegation, left Kabul three days ago to attend the international economic forum in Russia.
