At least five people were killed and 18 others injured after a bus carrying dozens of passengers hit a house in northern Baghlan province on Monday, according to Taliban officials.
The bus was en route to Mazar-e-Sharif city in northern Afghanistan from the capital city, Kabul.
According to a Taliban statement, the incident happened due to the driver’s negligence.
Lack of proper roads and drivers’ carelessness often lead to deadly traffic accidents in various parts of Afghanistan.
