Daesh in a statement claimed responsibility for a magnetic bomb explosion that targeted a minivan in the Kota-e Sangi area of Kabul’s Police District 3.
According to initial reports from the Taliban, the attack resulted in the death of the driver and injuries to three civilians.
However, Daesh alleged that the blast killed and wounded at least 10 people, including Taliban forces.
The western part of Kabul, where the attack occurred, frequently experiences attacks claimed by Daesh, often resulting in significant civilian casualties.
