KABUL, Afghanistan — The Taliban-led Ministry of Refugees reported that 903 Afghan refugees were either deported or voluntarily returned from Iran on Friday, Feb. 10.
According to the ministry, 271 of these returnees were identified as vulnerable and received food and other assistance.
A senior commander of the Iranian border forces stated on Friday that approximately 20,000 undocumented Afghan migrants have been deported from Iran in the past two weeks.
