Taliban: Four passengers of missing plane in Badakhshan alive

KABUL, Afghanistan — The Taliban announced that four passengers, including the pilot, of the charter plane that disappeared in Afghanistan’s Badakhshan province are alive.

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid stated that the aircraft was located in the Arz Koh area of Kof Aab district in Badakhshan.

He further mentioned that efforts are ongoing to locate the remaining occupants of the plane.

Russian officials previously reported that the plane, en route from India to Uzbekistan, was carrying six passengers.
