Pakistan deported 1,483 Afghan migrants on Thursday, Dec. 21, as part of its ongoing efforts to repatriate undocumented immigrants, Pakistani media reported, noting a slight decrease from the 1,700 migrants returned the previous day.

The migrants re-entered Afghanistan through the Spin Boldak and Torkham border crossings in Kandahar and Nangarhar provinces, respectively.

Since November, Pakistani authorities have repatriated a total of 443,376 undocumented Afghans, according to figures released by local media.
