The Freedom Front asserted in a statement released on Friday that it had targeted a Taliban outpost on Thursday night in the Bagram district of Parwan province.

According to the anti-Taliban faction, the assault purportedly resulted in the deaths of at least five members of Taliban forces, with an additional three sustaining injuries.

The statement further noted that the operation endured for a minimum of one hour, with no reported casualties among the Freedom Front during the confrontation.

This development comes amidst escalated sporadic assaults launched by both the Freedom Front and the Resistance Front against Taliban installations over recent weeks.

At the time of reporting, the Taliban had not issued any comment regarding the incident in Parwan.
