Afghanistan’s national football team is facing Iran in a football match at the Central Asian football tournament, CAFA, on Tuesday evening at 7:30 Kabul time.
The match is being held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
It is the third official match between the two sides in the past 82 years. The first times the two sides faced each other was in 1941 in Kabul that ended without any score. Eight years later, the two sides met in Tehran in which Iran won 4-0.
