Ahmad Massoud, the leader of the anti-Taliban resistance front, has travelled to Austria to attend the second Vienna meeting on Afghanistan, the resistance front said in a statement.
The meeting will be held on Monday where representatives of political movements, civil society organizations, former government officials, former MPs, religious scholars, diplomats and journalists will attend, the statement added.
The first meeting on Afghanistan in Vienna was held last September.
The conference will focus on strengthening trust building between political movements, political activists, civil society activists, and anti-Taliban forces; expanding of resistance for the freedom of Afghanistan; increasing pressure on the Taliban and its supporters and discussing ways to overcome the current crisis in the country, the statement said.
On the sidelines of the conference, the resistance front leader will attend a meeting in the support of human rights in Afghanistan.
The conference is held with the support of the Austrian Institute of International Affairs.
