Iran’s University of Science and Culture on Wednesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Afghanistan’s Ashna and Maiwand Universities on academic cooperation.
MNA reported that the MoU was signed in order to establish a network of educational, research, and technology cooperation between the universities and research centers for the active participation of professors, researchers, and students in the field of science and technology.
As per the MoU, the parties are expected to exchange professors and students, holding short-term and long-term training courses as well as joint international scientific gatherings, conferences, and consultations.
The MoU was signed by the head of the University of Science and Culture Mehdi Basouli and Habibollah Hosseini from Afghanistan’s Ashna and Maiwand Universities.This latest MoU comes after Ashna and Maiwand Universities sealed an agreement in early January with Iran’s Birjand University – also to enhance educational, research, skills, and technology ties.
