The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) said it has held technical-level talks with Taliban officials and member states as part of the UN-led Doha process, focusing on confidence-building measures in counter-narcotics, money-laundering, terrorism financing and other transnational crimes.
In a statement on X, UNODC said the engagement aimed to strengthen regional cooperation and support a coordinated response to cross-border threats affecting Afghanistan and its neighbours.
