Fiber-optic internet service has been partially restored for some providers in Balkh province, local sources told Amu.
Balkh, in northern Afghanistan, was the first province where the Taliban cut fiber service. The shutdown has since expanded, with fiber-optic internet now blocked in 16 provinces.
The Taliban have not commented on the partial restoration.
