The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) reports that the Taliban have detained 29 humanitarian workers in one month.

According to OCHA’s report, 35 humanitarian activities have been suspended in April due to access challenges and Taliban interference in humanitarian operations.

The report states that these restrictions undermine the effective and timely delivery of humanitarian aid.

The Taliban have not yet officially responded to this report.
