KUNDUZ, Afghanistan — Mohammad Shahab Salarzai, a professor at Kunduz University, was among those killed in the suicide bombing outside a Kabul Bank branch in the city on Tuesday morning, local sources confirmed.
According to local reports, at least 25 people, including Taliban members, were killed, and 30 others were wounded in the attack.
Taliban, however, have downplayed the casualty count, officially reporting only five deaths.
No group has claimed responsibility for the bombing.
