A 28-year-old man was stabbed to death by unidentified attackers in Aqcha district of Jawzjan province on Friday night, local Taliban authorities said.
Kifayatullah Sadaqat, the Taliban’s police chief in Aqcha, confirmed that the incident occurred in the Dasht-e-Se Rahi area and that the assailants fled the scene after the attack.
He added that the motive and circumstances surrounding the killing remain unclear but said an investigation is underway to identify and arrest those responsible.
