BADGHIS, Afghanistan — A landslide in Badghis Province claimed the lives of two family members, a father and son, Taliban officials said Tuesday.
The incident occurred in the Qadis district while the victims were collecting clay from a hillside, according to a spokesperson for the Taliban’s provincial police.
Both individuals were buried under the debris when the hillside gave way.
