November 2 marks four years since a deadly attack on Kabul University that left nearly two dozen people dead and many others wounded.
The assault, which took place on November 2, 2020, claimed the lives of at least 22 people, most of them students, and injured around 40 others.
The attack was officially claimed by ISIS at the time, though senior officials in the former Afghan government held the Taliban responsible.
Taliban denied any involvement and condemned the attack. In response, the Afghan government declared a national day of mourning to honor the victims.
